The Transportation and Safety departments are integral to ensuring the secure and efficient movement of students and maintaining a safe environment across Mannheim School District 83. Our responsibilities encompass the safe transportation of students and the comprehensive safety measures implemented throughout the district.

Transportation

The transportation department ensures the safe transport of over 1500 students to and from school daily. Our fleet consists of 20 full size buses and 2 special education buses, meticulously maintained to meet all safety standards. We are committed to providing reliable and punctual transportation services, ensuring that students arrive at school ready to learn and return home safely.

Safety Department

The safety department is dedicated to creating a secure environment for students, staff and visitors. We implement and monitor safety protocols, conduct regular drills, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Our goal is to foster a cultural of safety within the district, providing peace of mind for parents and conducive learning environment for students.
